I've only considered myself a professional designer for about 2 years now. (Those private lessons in 4th grade don't count and nether do that two years of Multimedia in high school). So tapping into new venues and platforms for presenting and discovering new art are still an easter egg hunt for me.
At first a former classmate of mine put me on to Deviant Art. A site that I love even though I don't receive a whole lot of attention. Then there was Uber that I just fell on and VOX. But then something new happened and I received an e-mail to Talent Database and was even featured as an artist for about a week. I thought that was nice but then I realized that it was an upstart and they wanted to use my excitedness to tell my friends and invite to hits to the site and check me out. But soon I found out they were pitting people against each other in like some type of popularity contest type deal that I just wasn't with. And Uber was oversaturated with recording industry propaganda and that got old real quic ...
