Is anyone else a bit confused about this portfolio functionality? From the HOME page or from a users's PROFILE page when one clicks on the portfolio item a new page (_parent) is loaded with the portfolio piece in the main window and comments below. HOWEVER, from a user's PROFILE page after clicking USER XYZ'S PORTFOLIO IMAGES to see the whole portfolio, clicking launches a popup (_blank) with room for the image but no comments — even if the image had comments on the previous page. What happened to the comments? Anyone else confused by this? The image in the popup also takes abnormally long to load — in Firefox 2.0 and Safari 3.0 on OSX 10.4.10. cheers, aleks.

As a web developer also, I'm a bit in the middle of the road with pop up windows. They're a tidy fix for many scenarios, but I think they slow up the navigation on Jamuse. It limits a speedy browse when you're sifting through the showroom.

Well-put, Aaron.

For some functionality a popup is a great solution but for the portfolios it just feels a little 'off' especially since it's not a consistent thing; the portfolio popup only happens when in certain situations and then its functionality is limited compared to the regular portfolio-item page....
