I have been on and off the site as I have the time and have provided feedback on a variety of areas. I have read through a good number of posts from fellow members and the updates from site staff.

The amount of feedback coming in from members is steady and I am wondering if there might be a better way to organize the forum areas so that jamuse collects and responds to feedback in a more organized and efficient manner.

I have seen a good amount of replies to posts from jamuse staff, but it appears that we, the advisory board are all over the place in posting our questions and suggestions, and not every question is being answered. I don't really expect that you have the time and manpower to do that, but if we could organize the forum so that we go to a specific area or thread and can leave feedback by subject or theme,  then the site staff could go to a particular thread and answer or address similar questions all at once.

The "first impression" thread seems to be where people are leaving multiple comments on many ideas they have. Some of the things being asked about there are also being posted in many other places on the board. There just doesn't seem to be one place to go to ask your questions and come back to see what the answer turned out to be.

The type of feedback being left now is falling into easily identifiable categories and could be organized into specific threads. Rather than have people just throw five or six questions into one post at different places on the board why not have us go to a thread to ask a question where other or similar questions are being asked and replied to.

I also am wondering when we will have the abilty to see all of our own posts in one place. I would like to keep track of my own questions and now I can't go to my profile to see a list of my own posts.

Ron,
>>I also am wondering when we will have the abilty to see all of our own posts in one place
Click on "My Forums" on the top of this page to see your posts. I use the "Not Read" feature, because I try to read everything.

Porpose some categories and we'll try to reoraganize. Support, new features, Advisory Board and Community seem obvious. We'll probably move Advisory areas to a private forum once we launch the site.

What else?

I would like some reorganzation also. I am always afraid I am missing something or not finding something interesting. I do use my forums but then I miss alot of new comments in other areas. Seems there has to be a way to reorganize by topic or something. Though I know it is difficult to put everything in a specific category........
Pete

Often times I ask questions and never seem to get a response till I specifically message someone about it.......... or am I just asking questions not worth answering........LOL

I too am a bit befuddled as to where to jump in wih comments and observations that will provide clarity with some apparent sense of order. I should not be able to zip by this issue if addressed. Structure suggestion is a chronological organization Similar to Q and A: Search Subject/Topic - Solution or Response Too simplistic?

I think it will become obvious as we move forward just by the nature of the conversations. Some are technical/support related. Others are business related. Others are social or community related. The problem is that what starts technical may become social and so on...that will never change and is part of the fun. All I can say as that we monitor everything and try to respond...better yet, we love to see so many people responding to each other and helping each other out...that's the best way.

Phillis, we will still need categories. We can even do sub-categories when needed.

I find it interesting that this topic is now rated with one star out of five. I really don't have any more information or answers to the majority of questions that I have posted over the last few weeks.

Was this rated as one star by a member or by someone from jamuse staff ?

Edit: I am closing my account. I wish you all much success.

Ras,

Let me know how I can help...Ratings in forums are from users...not sure they are used much at this time.

When we reply to any of the messages posted in the forum, the posting No. of that person changes, changing at the same time, the earlier numbers also. It would be better if the latest number alone changes and the others displaying their original numbers.

Though dates are displayed showing on what dates we have posted our views, I would still like to know the order of my postings since we post in different forums, sometimes more than one on the same day,.

Hence it would be better if the author’s postings are displayed in order, when you click ‘My Forums’

It would be better if the threadings for different messages in the same forum are available as they  would enable one to follow the messages easily.
