This is a great website and the MuseWorx tool is fantastic! After selling myself on the internet for more than 12 years either through my own personal website or approximately 20 other sites, I have a few suggestions. In my experience the more people can learn and know about you, the more at ease and confident they are about hiring you and having you do work for them.
The allotted space allowed for your biography and profile is pretty short 3 or 4 paragraphs. Most sites allow quite a bit more than here. Instead of it coming up saying description make it Biography/Profile.
Have a place to list any awards or merits one might have. Might think about having a place to list say a half dozen of your prior clients.
Also I have found that one of the most powerful promotion, advertising and marketing tool are testimonials, have a place for say half a dozen of them. Most people will not do business with strangers. People love to hear what other clients have said about you and your work. It reassures them that if they choose you, you will do a good job. |
