Aight.  After looking at the Slide Show and thinking that it's a great addition to Jamuse.  My site usuability mindset came back into play.

Simplicity
.

Like I did with adding a link to my work: example here: My Asset
And tutorial here: My Asset Link Tutorial

I'll had an issue with the Related Work field that is under my asset.  Which again I feel that it should only show my work there and no one elses when a user/client goes to that page.

I know that all these ideas are being considered.  I feel that the Slide Show should be on the page that my above example is at.  That a smaller Slide Show should change the image so the a user/client does not have to click back to see another image in the same interface or window/page.  The option to go full screen should be just that.  An Option.

This make the simplicity of showing your work more porfessional.  It would also separate anyone from thinking that Jamuse is anything like all those other useless sites out there like www.myartspace.com

That site looks and feels like another www.youtube.com

I don't have to stress how much I hate those sites.  They degrade the work of a professional to that of a amatuer.  Those site are responsible for the decline in respect that a Digital/Graphic Artist once had in the industry.

Many clients think that just because they can open a photo in Photo Shop and use Microsoft Publisher to such an intermediate level.  That it means they can do what a professionals can do.  I've had to  show many clients how stupid they are and that they know nothing and walk away from work because of this attitude and view that they have developed.

I see Jamuse as a way of rebuilding the lost respect that  Digital/Graphic Artist once held.  But to do that.  You LORDS OF JAMUSE need to pay very close attention to not just what your dream that is Jamuse.  You have to pay close attention the the history and the relationship Digital/Graphic Artists have with the market as a whole.

I want to remind you guys that when I first saw and played with Jamuse.  I really cried.  Tears and all.  Because here were visionary, men and women, who felt a need to create and redefine the love and respect that all Artist in this industy deserve.  I had wanted to make my site www.lostsoulgraphics.com into the very thing that Jamuse is promoting.

So you can understand why my passion for Jamuse's success is so strong.  In my heart I am a historian and in my life I am a futurist.  This mindset is what gives me the drive for success.

I read a posting that Jamuse is going to fully launch on January 8, 2008.  I'm all for this.  But... there is much to do and so little time to make Jamuse stand alone as the premier site for professional to showcase their work.  The potential to defeat all competition before there is competition.

And believe me when I say this.  There will be competition.

I see Jamuse as the first in this Internet Revolution that is coming.  Many don't know that there is a revolution coming but I see, and my is hope that many of you see the signs.

I'm not going to lie to you LORDS OF JAMUSE. I would LOVE to work for guys.  As site usebility tester and a market analyst and the guy who listens and studies everyone's ideas.  But that why you LORDS OF JAMUSE create the Site Advisory Board.  To save money and give the site and professional a run for the new battle front that is the coming in the Internet Revolution.  So my respect is very great indeed in the wisdom and choices that you have made.

Well, that is all I have to say right now.  I going to take a break from Jamuse today.  I have to be honest that I feel a round of tears coming but I'm holding it back for the sake of my manhood. LOL

With the launch so close.  I think it's very important that we take great care in the development and promotion of Jamuse.

Thank you all and Happy Holidays.
