I'm sure many (if not all) of us take the time to add metadata to our files. Jamuse needs to make much better use of this data. For example, if my files already have IPTC titles why does jamuse put the file name in the title field after it uploads the image? I am not inclined to go through files again after they get to jamuse and redo all my metadata work.

| Being able to directly import IPTC data with supplied files would be a HUGE benefit. Being able to select which fields were imported at upload time, or maybe just which fields were visible to visitors would also be great. |
