OK, I am invited by Bruce Lazarus few weeks ago to be a Board Member, and I think I do everything that others Board Members do, but my file space is still 500MB. Why is that. I' tried  to contact Bruce but he  keep sending me standardized mails. Am I in the Site Advisory Board or not? Do anyone else have this problem?

Where you told you would get more than 5000 Meg? I was never told that there was a size of 500 let alone more.

That's odd. Bruce has been very responsive to me. He usually returns emails within a day.

Miroslav,

You're not alone ... I think that the site founders have a little trouble keeping track of everybody. I've been here pretty much since the beginning (beginning of October), and my file space hasn't been updated either. Other odd examples of inconsistent status include:

1) About six months ago, I was added as a "featured artist." Cool. Then, about a week ago, I got an email saying "Congratulations, you're now a featured artist!" Umm ... thanks ... I think?

2) From Day One, I was an advisory board member. Eventually, I was told that, due to my voluminous participation on the boards, I would be upgraded from advisory board member to senior advisory board member. Then, I got an email saying, "Congratulations, you're now an advisory board member!" Umm ... thanks ... I think?

I think this is pretty much a growing pain ... David, Robert and Bruce are all trying to interact individually with as many members as they can, and I don't think there's a central database somewhere that lists everybody's status. It should all come out in the wash soon!

Clarkman,

The 500MB to 1 GB limit increase for Board Members was announced on the Advisory Board Member Logo thread.

All,
Thanks for being patient. I think Bruce does his best to get back to everyone in a day. There are a lot more people than our pre-launch anticipated and in preparation for our launch, we are tightening up everything...I hope you have noticed.

We added a new page you may want to check out that explains some of the site advisor stuff. It's on the menu, but here is the link:
http://www.jamuse.com/jamuseAdvisoryBoard/tabid/93/Default.aspx

Specifically, the site advisor benefits are listed.

Miroslav,
if Bruce told you you get a GB, then you get a GB. Not everyone does. If there is an immediate need, just let us know.

Beyond the standard stuff on the link above, If anyone else needs more space, let us know. We want to see you succeed and we want to see the site used as much as possible. There are 176k files being shared now and early next year we will see this go to millions each month. We are well on the way.

Alex,

We do have good tracking of everyone, but time is something a little more difficult to track. :-) Featured artists come and go. Looks like you are back...maybe you are a double feature :-)

Again, Thanks for your patience and get out there and use the ssystem to help your talent and your business grow.

My personal experience is that Bruce is amazing at returning my emails, I just wish I could do more to help new members, but it seems that there are not many unanswered questions. Let's wait and see what happens when AD agencies take note of Jamuse!

bruce always returns my emails quickly, I'm sure that if he isn't doing the same with others, it isn't intended to slight anyone or ignore them, he is busy, we are all busy, I think he does the best he can and I appreciate it very much. I have the 1 gig space as well.
