Just thought I'd let you all know about a back-up app. I've recently discovered called NTI Shadow. The purpose of Shadow is not to back up the whole drive but rather individual folders, very useful for backing up any individual current jobs from the hard drive to an external drive.
It's very easy to use and allows you complete control over the back up i.e. the source and destination, how often the back up is to occur per working session (this doesn't work so well for Mac's) as well as the the number of back ups to be stored in the destination folder and more. It works in the background so there is no or minimal disruption to the work flow. Once the job is done you simply delete that job from the back up list.
I appreciate that there are plenty of back-up apps out there and believe I am not getting any money or kick backs for posting this. As a community I think it's healthy if we can help each other out by posting little pieces of information like this.
